Located in central Paris, Université Paris Dauphine-PSL is a public management university created in 1968, which became a ‘Grand Etablissement’ in 2004 (with a selective student admission process), and a founding member of PSL Research University (Paris Sciences & Lettres) in 2011. It holds a unique position in France: EQUIS accredited, it offers multidisciplinary programmes, from Bachelor to PhD and executive education, specialized in the organizational and decision sciences: 7 bachelors, 20 masters’ degrees with 87 specializations and 7 graduate programmes, providing enhanced expertise to 10,000 students. Université Paris Dauphine – PSL develops an innovative pedagogy based on small groups, internationalized curricula and combining corporate-oriented and research.

Information for QTEM incoming students

Paris Dauphine University is a highly quantitative institution. All courses require a strong background in statistics, mathematics, microeconomics, and macroeconomics.

Students are expected to have completed courses covering most of the following topics:

  • Mathematics: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Optimization, Basics of Real Analysis
  • Statistics & Probability: Probability Theory, Statistical Inference, Regression, Time Series
  • Microeconomics: Consumer Theory, Producer Theory, Market Structures, General Equilibrium & Welfare
  • Macroeconomics: National Accounts, Growth Theory, Closed-Economy Models, Open-Economy Basics
  • Finance: Basics of Accounting & Finance, Bond and Equity Valuation, Decision Criteria, Expected Return & Risk

Incoming students are required to take all their courses from one of the following masters:
