Scope of this policy 

QTEM wants to make your experience with our websites/mobile applications as informative and relevant as possible. To achieve this, we use cookies, whereby we strive both to protect your privacy and to offer you a user-friendly online environment. How long are cookies stored on your device?  

The period during which a Cookie is stored on the device you are browsing with depends on whether it is a “Persistent” or a “Session” Cookie. Session cookies are only stored on a device until the web browser is closed. Permanent Cookies remain on the device after you have finished browsing until they expire or are deleted.

Consent of the visitor

When you open the QTEM website/mobile application, and before data is stored and/or Cookies are installed on your device, you are notified about the use of Cookies and asked to give your consent for this. If you refuse cookies, you will still have access to the QTEM website/mobile application, but your browser will operate more slowly or you will have difficulty or no access to certain parts or functionalities of the website or mobile application.

Email-related Cookies

In the context of emails, we (through our data processor) place single pixel gifs, also known as web beacons, in every email sent. These are tiny graphic files that contain unique identifiers that enable to recognize when you have opened an email or clicked certain links. These technologies record each subscribers email address, IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for a campaign.

How can you disable Cookies placed on your device? 

Usually it is possible to allow, disable or delete cookies via your web browser or device settings.
