Rule for course selection

Courses will only be validated once confirmed by your QTEM local Coordinator.

Please take note of the following terminology applying at Monash: courses are referred to as units and programs are referred to as courses.

During your QTEM Master, you have to select courses in the QTEM course database, to reach a minimum of 50% quantitative credits, including a minimum of 22 quantitative credits on average per QTEM exchange. Courses tagged “highly quantitative” or “semi-quantitative” qualify for quantitative credits.

You must also complete a minimum of one general QTEM Module. A general QTEM Module is awarded once you reach 20 credits of courses in the same module across your QTEM Master. The maximum number of general QTEM Modules awarded is two. Students check with their QTEM Local Coordinator the completion of a general QTEM Module.

For EDHEC, if you are in MA1, you need to follow the courses in the Master Level 1 Financial Economics (M1FE), if you in MA2, you need to choose courses in one and only one Master amongst: MsC in Finance (MScFIN) / Msc in Corporate Finance & Banking (MScCORP) / Msc in Financial Markets (MScF) / MsC in Audit and Management Control (MScAMC). The Master of the course is mentioned in the course title and in the description of the course.

QTEM students should check and validate their course choice with their host University.
